One of three projects I marathoned through in about two weeks. This one was a redo of one from the fall that I wasn’t happy with.

Before and After.

I cut out the text since it just really felt out of place. Now to figure out if I should leave it as is or attach it to another piece of paper.

Senior Exhibition already came and went, and since I’ve been busy with projects, posting these photos kinda slipped my mind. Here’s how Yuk looked in the gallery.

Blasty from the pasty!
There used to be a magazine called Animerica, and every year they would do a “design-a-mech” drawing contest. For ‘02, the theme was G Gundam, an anime series where, IN THE FUTURE!!!, every country has a space colony and they all fight for control of Earth’s space for four years via an Olympics style tournament with giant mechs designed around hilarious national stereotypes (Mexico’s was called Tequila Gundam and had a freaking sombero!). The one I submitted was for Haiti and was based on Baron Samedi, one of the better known Voodoo loa. And the prize for getting “Best Toy Candidate”? A big-ass Char’s Counterattack poster and some DVDs.
